ECO/School Council

We are the School Council.

Sian is Chairperson, Rheya is Vice Chairperson and Secretary and Molly is Deputy Vice Chair.

We met in the Autumn Term and decided we wanted to :

  • Start composting again
  • Litter picking around the school and community
  • Looking at food waste in school
  • Raise money for Christmas Jumper

We met in the Spring Term and decided we wanted to :

  • Set up a rotas for gardening. litter pick and light & power
  • Start the daily mile again
  • Do assemblies for sustainability week after Easter
  • Set up the ECO code

We met in the Summer Term and decided we wanted to :

  • Pick our top 5 equipment to be added to the park

So far we have:

  • Designated roles within the council
  • Recieved badges to show that we are a member of the council
  • Been gardenig with our Keep Wales Tidy Pack
  • Litter picked in the community to raise money for the RSPCA
  • Set up a rota for gardening, litter picking and monitoring lights
  • Delivered 4 assemblies on sustainablilty
